About Us

Throwback are a super fun five-piece party band, serving up a selection of the biggest tunes from the 80’s and 90’s. Their killer set list provides the perfect balance of retro tunes with high energy, contemporary style and delivery. Their awesome live show is complimented by an electronic drum kit for added 90’s authenticity, but it also makes Throwback a perfect party band for events held in venues with specific noise restrictions. They even offer a stripped back, live lounge style acoustic set that’s perfect for afternoon drinks receptions. All this means that all your event’s entertainment needs are catered for in a single booking.

Throwback were INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best wedding/event band we've ever seen. Amazing set list that's really different vs the usual songs always played at weddings, which was exactly what we were looking for - where else can you hear both a dance anthems medley and a Spice Girls medley?! They are phenomenal performers, and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic they were. The dance floor was full all night long and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They kindly learned our first dance (Just the way you are by Milky) and played it perfectly, as well as nailing every element of our very detailed requests. The band were incredibly professional and polite and a dream to deal with both on the day and in the run up to the event. I was astonished by how good Throwback were. My wife and I booked them for our wedding based on videos online and we were not disappointed. Throwback were astounding performers full of energy who were really keen to get everyone up on the dance floor. Their choice of songs was fantastic and excellently well performed to the extent where I had to remember it was not the original artist playing at times! We were particularly delighted with their wonderful rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart which we requested and got everyone singing.
